sweet little car, like a big go-cart though..
big go kart is true i run circles around those little exige S's at P.I.R. there pretty slow too, and all i have is and VIII GSR with a Jap 9 mr turbo and b.o.v., buddy club 272/274 cams, exeddy double platted clutch, and ram air man.

I still think you should keep the EVO, if not list your parts and ill buy them befor you sell the car..

the lotus exige s is wat i test drove not to long ago and it was beautiful. i tried to make it break loose in the canyons and it wouldnt let go. the motors are pinned at 8k for 72hours as a test at the factory so they are reliable to say the least lol. great cars great gas mileage i love them. and again the handling is a dream.

They are very cool little cars, but you might want to check on insurance rates as they are very easily totaled. A guy in Austin got into a very slight fender bender where a girl in a Cherokee hit him in a parking garage. Didn't look very bad at all, one headlight bucket was a bit messed up along with a fender, they ended up totaling out the car. It turns out that that little hit damaged a mounting point for the suspension and the mounting point point was connected to the front carbon fiber tub. The whole tub needed to be replaced and to to that they wound have to break the bond between it and the aluminum passenger tub. Too expensive so it was totaled for a fender bender....

I do not know that the rates are high, but if they total them out for stuff like that then it very well could be.

Other then that they are really neat cars.

Enterprise Car Rental has them available here in South Florida. I rented one for a week and yes the car is fun as hell. I would buy one for the fun part but I would not keep it for more than a year. Other than the Toyota motor the rest of the car was held together with glue.

they are not carbon fiber..

they are bonded aluminum and fiberglass...

a lotus will kill an evo at mid corner speeds but does not have the grunt to keep up down the straights... i was 15mph faster down through the esses at road atlanta in the standard elise than i was in an F360.

Buy a lotus, put a hyabusa motor in it with a turbo thats what we want to do
550hp 1780 lbs lol

If you want a tiny car.. but buy the Smart Car.. take out the engine, drop in a Gixxer motor (or whatever you choose) light suspension.. and there ya go, a total sleeper.. for far less money of an Elise

Ok, it may have not been CF in the front end, but I am pretty sure that it was totaled out, actually I think that post was on here.

Elise's and exiges are probably one of the best true sports cars in terms of road feel. They are ungodly uncomfortable for more than 2 hours, but for a weekend car, they are def. worth it.

Your 07 Altima is probably worth around the same amount as your 03 Evo... I would sell your Altima and buy the Elise and keep the Evo. An Evo + an Elise - What a wonderful combo that would be!

daily rush hour traffic+manual+gas prices+insurance=dont think i will keep 2 performance cars.

plus, i only have room for one car in the garage. dont think i want to leave the evo outside. if i could i would though. that is a sweet combo!!

I've seen one when I went to test drove a 330ci. It looks real nice and perfect for short asian guys like us j/k. I would say that the cockpit is pretty big enough to fit a tall guy. Haven't drove one but seem like it might not be comfy though
