That sounds most reliable. ^ I don't want to take any chances with me not using the proper amount of 110 and 93 and all this math.

On a side note: evodan I just posted in your NJ evo owners thread.

^it depends on what octane booster you use, not all octane boosters are a gimmick. I will agree that some are just bs. A little research will yield which ones are effective but I do agree the safest way is to drain the fuel out, add race gas, or just run her easy till she's empty.

I wouldn't bother draining it. I'd just keep on adding gas everyday after you drive. If you have access to some 100 octane, dump that in. Just have to stay out of boost! Plus side is you'll get pretty good gas mileage

I think your mom is kind of a badass for being able to drive an Evo. I don't know of many women that can, much less a mom!

The last thing I would do is add octane booster - that doesn't make much sense and is very risky.

Just add a few gallons of race gas, and you'll be fine. 3 gallons of 110 puts you over 93oct assuming you still have 11 gallons of 89. The higher the percentage of 110 as compared to 89, the higher your resulting octane will be - it's just a linear equation.

Problem solved gents! And yeah my mom likes driving my car but I gave her the biggest guilt trip of her life and made her pay for my tank to be filled. And then I made her pay for my food at Wawa.
