TBE and Intake void warranty???

ive got a few questions about warranty issues with the evo. i just bought my first evo last week. its completely stock, all oil changes, tire rotos, etc have been done thru the dealership, paperwork shows

anyhow, i was wondering, if i put a TBE and a full intake on it, would it void manu. warrenty? or would i have to take it alllll off and go back to stock before the shop?

There are a lot of warranty threads on EvoM. The general consensus is, Mitsu is very sensitive to modifications when it comes to the warranty. People have had warranty work refused for something such as non OEM brake pads or different brand of oil used.

did you happen to sit in the car? Well sitting in the car causes unnecessary pressure on the drivetrain and it's components so therefore you were streetracing and therefore using the car in a manner in which it was never intended. With that said you warranty is void.

Your convo with the service mgr will sound strikingly similar to this
