Okay i have been on here searching for almost an hour, with little luck so far.
I just bought a 2006 EVOIX MR the car has all Buschur parts, was built and tuned by Dave.
The mods are as follows:
Buschur 9GLT turbo
Ported manifold
Buschurs racing FMIC @hard-pipe
ARP head studs
Walbrough fuel pump with bigger injectors
AEM EMS with all sensors
E-Cutout
Buschur intake
Meth injection kit - 100% Meth
Dave tuned the car on his dyno and it made 407 WHP and 367 TQ
The problem i am having with the car is when i open the cut-out and floor it shifting at over 6k it will make a loud pop, which sounds like a backfire. This is happens in the lower 3 gears. It does not happen if i shift before 6K. or if i run it through 4th 5th or 6th gears. The noise is very loud too. I also only run Sunoco 93 in it. If anyone can help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. I am getting ready to leave for vacation this comming week and this is my only car to drive and i do not want to tear it up or break something.

 

Its normal dont worry about it. Thats what tuned machines do with an open exhaust.

 

It is most likely a backfire and normal with your mods and tune.

 

yeah I don't have much done to mine at all and every once in a while it'll fart....I kinda like it HAHA......SOunds BAD grrrrrrr lol
