little bit of a tricky question

I have an E-01 in my car which is being used as a boost gauge since the device didnt respond well with my car. I have an autometer electronic boost gauge that I want to install. Do you guys think that instead of pulling the wires back through the fire wall and such that I could just cut the wires to the e-01 and use the pressure sensor that the e-01 supplies instead of the one autometer supplies? Im already all rigged up into the ecu for the e-01 and I already have a hose spliced in before the intake manifold to read boost....

you can probably use the wires, but the you have to be sure that the output voltage range of the old pressure sensor is compatible with your new gauge.

ok cool thanks a lot I just dont really wanna go through the hassel of buying new hoses and wires and what not and re run the wires through the firewall again if I really dont have to do so.
