I never ran at Salinas, only at Carolina. However, I will say that while sitting in the stands at Salinas, it looks as if there's a downhill slope near the end...Right before the banners / underpass.

Also, what's wrong with me saying it seems to me that the track is downhill? After all, didn't the OP say this record was on a stock turbo?

...And I was in San Juan when it did snow. Remember when they thought it was a good idea to import all that snow and drop it over the city that year for Christmas? What a mess. There was black sludge everywhere.

Salinas is definatly not downhill. I made a pass yesterday in an Evo X and I can tell you its as legitimate as a track as you will find anywhere.

Perhaps it just appeared that way from the stands then. Of course, that was over 5 years ago when I was there. Is everyone still driving Mirages with hubcaps and Evolution stickers on the back of them? I used to love that stuff. Technica = Fail.
