Exclamation Radio Lights up (like during night-time) when I press the brakes???

I'm having a strange problem with the car that started today: I tried searching for a few different terms in the title of threads but no help.

This morning when I put my foot on the brakes and started my car I noticed that when I pressed the brake pedal the 'nightime illumination' for the radio would come on. As soon as I let my foot off of the brakes it goes away, but everytime I push the brake pedal the radio lights up as if I had the parking lights on.

It's really annoying so I just turned on my parking lights to keep the damn thing lit up all the time.

This is probably related to my LED mods. I have:
LED brake lights
LED Rear and front parking lights
LED Reverse lights
LED Turnsignals (front and rear)
LED 3rd brake light - I bought 'defarmer69's' 3 row version

The funny thing is that these exterior LED mods have been working perfectly for a few months (since the start of april probably)

The only recent lighting mods I have done is:

1 - I put 3 gauges on my a-pillar (I wired the back lighting to come on by splicing it into the green/white 12v wire behind the dimmer switch)
2 - I wired some LED footwell lighting into the cigarette lighter so that when that comes on the LED's come on also, but I also put a manual switch so that I can leave them off if I want too. (even if I leave this switch off the "radio lights on when I press the brakes" thing still happens.

Also: I doubt my radio is broken - I never ever ever use the thing.

PS: I havent had a chance to do any troubleshooting yet because I found this out when I had to leave for work this morning. I will try some troubleshooting today hopefully - looking for ideas or anyone else that might have had and solved this problem.
