is it worth to buy this stuff??

hey dudes....my friend brian showed me this website over the weekened and i know some of you have prolly seen a thread like this or have seen there stuff. he went on a website (www.xs-power.com) and they have a whole intercooler kit for only $325 dollars, and it has a bigger intercooler, LICP and UICP. my buddy has there front mount and intercooler piping on his evo 9 MR and dynoed at 423hp. with numerouse other mods. he said it works great, but off course im not buying somthing unless i talk to my buddies on evom lol so my qeustion is, is it worth buying??...will i loose power instead of makign power with this kit?

So many threads on this. Most will say leave it alone however I have seen many high hp Hondas running Ebay intercoolers.

Their is no doubt that expensive cores just as the ones used by companys like Buschur, ETS, and AMS will be less prone to heat soaking.

Single Dyno #'s mean nothing to me personally. Take 10 runs on the dyno or how well does it hold up to track use is the real test.

Ebay coolers are def an improvement over stock as the knock threshold will be moved higher. Just depends on what you are looking to do with your car.

I guess the main problem with the intercooler is going to be the pressure drop, it might flow more, but because it flows more it means less cooling potential.
just my .2c

their tubular stock turbo manifold says that will never crack. mmhmm .. sounds like a challange.

its probably worth it if you are upgrading from stock. quality is typically better with the name brands. i personally like the ETS ICs and Nisei piping.

You simply can't go wrong with AMS, Buschur or ETS.
