Why did you buy your evo?
After 9 years of experience with 4G63 DSMs, I found an EVO for a price I couldn't refuse.
I had planned on making a quick turnaround sale for a profit, but the car grew on me. I didn't like the EVOs until I owned one. Although I still hold some animosity toward Mitsubishi for degenerating the Eclipse into a FWD N/T overweight pig.

I had an 03 eclipse GT (bomex kit) and was looking into a tubo kit... The couple shops that I went to were trying to sell me a kit for like 7k... So Im like buh bye! So I decided to go another route and buy a car fully equipped to handle the turbo, as well as full warranty! I have had 2 eclipses and now an evo, so I guess you could say Im a Mitsu fan boi!
Many reasons. Number one being it's insane ability to go around a bend at speeds that can make a grown man cry. Acceleration is awesome as well. The responce to mods is great. The looks are good too.
The number one reason I WOULDN'T buy it (which obviously doesn't out-weight the reasons I would buy it) would be it being a 4-door as well as the high roof-line. I wish it was a coupe, (think STi 22b). I wish Evo's had a coupe option. They could have done it with Evo IV-VI's and just used the Mirage CJ5A chassis and reiforced it. An Evo coupe would be badass

After i had my S13 on boost, i had to sell it because baby was on the way, and i only go with Nissans so i needed a 4 doors car so i went ahead and bought a se-r and OMG.... i was embarrased of driving it lol and performance wise it was ridiculous to what i was used to... and the FWD 4get it.. so sold it 2 months later and the EVO all of the sudden appeared in my garage out of the nowhere!!!ready for my baby that was on the way.
I enjoy busting Mustangs, Camaros, and Goats wide open with my 4 door grocery getter. The owners are so cocky in the staging lanes, looks on their faces when they receive the timeslip is priceless.

LOL, lovin Turbolovers post, I guess you could say I'm diehard, but can't bring myself to do the tattoo.(hate needles, lol)
Over the years I've had more than a dozen Conquest/Starions (one that ran low 10s DD with the 2.6) 4 AWD 1st gen Talons (mildy modded), 1 FWD Turbo Laser (built 2.0 with 16g, BC 272s etc.) a 93 Stealth Twin Turbo (fully built 550awhp, too many mods to list, lol) and before I bought the Evo I found a very rare 89 Mirage Turbo Hatch (1 of the 1500 made, and a creampuff, which I have a built .030 over 1st gen 6 bolt, 16g turbo, all BC valvetrain, etc. going in it here soon.)
...So all in all, I guess I bought my Evo because I'm a diehard Mitsu freak, plus I've always loved the look of them since they brought them to the states, lol.
Mitsu all the way!

I was looking at WRXs and I stopped at a Mitsu dealership. I asked to test drive an evo and they said no, but a salesmen offered to give me a ride in one. He definatly never drove one before. He got into boost around a turn and almost lost it, his face turned pale white and he looked at me and said HOLY S*IT. My response was SOLD TO THE MAN IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. While he was changing his underwear I was doing paperwork.
