Need some MBC install assistance.

So first off I'm not the most car savy person. Ive installed intake and a fuel pump by myself. Currently I'm trying to install a MBC (forge) to be exact I have made the cut in the line for the T thing to go into but honestly I'm kinda lost. I have read through numerous how to's but some are missing pictures and what not and I'm not to sure of the technical names of the parts. I was wondering If I could get a little help? Someone to talk through it with me on the phone or something.

I know this is a noob car thing but I am very inexperienced. Any help would be appreciated.

You did a fuel pump but can't do an MBC? FP install is a PITA.

Anyways here is some help.

Side port of MBC goes to the wastegate (gold thing on the turbo with the long rod on it)

Bottom Port goes to the nipple off the compressor housing (cold side or intake side) of the turbo, or T it into the BOV line. VOILA!

I'm guessing you're doing the T-fitting/BOV method for the boost source.

Personally, I'd suggest you scrap the whole T-fitting idea and use the turbo nipple as the boost source. I have a Forge UNOS MBC too. If you don't have an undertray, the turbo and WGA nipple are fairly accessible. Does what I say make sense? If not, just ask and I'll clarify.

+1 on the turbo nipple as the boost source. I have my forge hooked up that way. Works great.

The photos at the very bottom of the page are the best "diagrams" of a turbo nipple boost source MBC install. IMHO, it is the correct way to do it.

So would I then just remove the hoses from the factory solenoid and put those into the mbc?

No, do NOT use the stock lines. They have restictor pills in them. Cap off the stock BCS with vacuum caps and use new lines to hook the MBC up.

So that is where I'm getting lost. I have to go buy new lines.

Buy new vacuum lines. It is either 3MM or 4MM bore. I don't remember. It'll be a VERY snug fit and takes some effort to get them connected.

It's 4mm vacuum hose. Buy 3-4 feet depending on where you mount your MBC. Cap off the nipple on the factory MAF hose as well as the nipple on the compressor housing discharge tube(if referencing the DV/intake line).
