Post Another dealer taking deposits

Just got off the phone with the internet sales manager at Auto Nation Mistubishi in Tucson, AZ. Willing to take deposits and will sell at MSRP. Also, I know that its still only a dealership, but we're starting to hear this more and more from dealers. He said its supposed to be released in Dec.....but he said in reality more like 90 days!!!! That puts us into July! Well, he may or may not be full of ****....but I still got a deposit down. Just waiting for that little piece of paper to come in the mail.

But hey, I know there are still a couple of you looking for dealers. Its Ron Neuman

And tell him Pete Eastburn sent ya.

I think might want to get into the Car And Driver 10 Best.
That might be the only reason to get the EVO entry in early.
And get the WRX off the list for marketing sake.

From what I understand on the C&D 10 Best list, it must be in for the beginning of the model year to be qualified. And if it is not, it cannot be on the list next year either unless it is a major remodel. For example, the 300ZX was there all of 90-96. Did you really think that it was better than the Supra, 3000GT, or RX-7 for any of those years?

It would be wise of to do that, if they're trying to get the kind of sales/new image they're looking for. That and I cant wait to get that car. Works for me if it comes out in July too....thats when I had already planned to drive down to AZ to see my parents.

For those in CO

Since folks are announcing this stuff, I talked with the Mitsu dealer here in Ft. Collins, CO - and they're taking deposits as well ($500 was what I was quoted).

Didn't ask about MSRP or not...should have.
