Haha, if the insurance lets me takes maybe. I am just glad I didnt have the P45rs on that came to my house that morning. They will have to wait for the next Evo. Gonna have fun on the phone with South Coast all day, damn time zone difference still have to wait a few hours.
Good Luck. I would do some research on what national dealers are selling low mile IX's for, you can used them comparable if they low ball you. Dealers definately aren't selling low mile IX SE's for 25K as mention in this thread. Evo's are rare and collectible, it might take negotiating, but I would hold out for $29-30K because honestly that is around what your going to pay a dealer for a comparable Evo.
If you have any easily removable mods pull them off if you can.

Yeah you need to take off all mods and accessories that survived before the insurance adjuster gets there. They will total the car at stock value not at modification value in which case when they cart your car off they will not care about the mods inside. So any aftermarket stuff take it off and save it for the new evo and or sell it on here for spare cash to help out with the new evos payments.

Oh believe me I STRIPPED everything I could. Took all the DEFI guages out, the link unit, turbo timer, stereo, GPS, if I get a chance going to go back for the Forge RS DV. As long as they give me around 28k I will be happy that will let me pick up a nice low mileage IX from somewhere pretty easy. Hopefully the insurance people will go out there in the next two days. Gonna have to haggle with them from Vegas since I will be there for 2 weeks.
