Did I get a tank of bad gas?

Hi Guys,

So Monday night I went to the same gas station next to my job that I usually go to (chevron). Since then, when I try to go into boost, even as small as 1psi, I will get 30+ counts of knock. Whats wierd is it isnt everytime I go positive. Its usually when I go from neutral to 1st, but its not every time. I tried dropping from 4th to 3rd and floored it, and no knock at all, all the way to 22 psi.

I changed plugs last night, same thing. The only thing that has changed was that fill-up. How can I tell if this is just bad gas?

Thanks!

fill it up with different gas as much as you can as the needle goes down, and make sure they arent refilling the underground fuel tanks while your pumping because you are getting ****ty gas that way

I had an incident like this a few months ago, only my car would not start. DRAINED THE TANK AND FOUND WATER IN THE FUEL. You need to drain the tank and inspect the fuel.

Every fuel tank has water in it, its from condensation due to tempature changes. Don't be to alarmed, I am working on a 1/4 in. ball valve install so I can drain off the water (which sits on the bottom) after my car has been sitting for a while.
