Well yesterday while trying to navigate out of my drive way (there was about 5 cars in the my way) i back up onto a stone wall. There is minimal damage to my bumper, however underneath the car on the drivers side there is this metal/plastic box with rubber hoses attached to it. It looks like it might be for emissions or something?

Does anyone know what it is?

yeah thats sounds about right. It doesnt seem to be damaged, just the bent off the hinges....is that bad. i dont have an SES or anything right now. i will take some pictures tomorrow.

yea i wouldn't worry about it unless u throw a CEL for an evap leak
