need help

Not sure what the problem is. I just got my 30k check on my evo and the check engine light came back on. For some reason when I got up into high rpms or at a higher speed roughly 80 or 90 for long period of time the check engine light will come on and the car will start to "bog out" off and on. I end up having to let up off the gas then press back on it. I tried slowing down while it is bogging but it still continues. What I mean by bogging is it seems like the car is going to cut off and sort of shakes as i'm going into the higher rpm's. Any help appreciated.

Thanks
Davis

do you have a tactrix cable and laptop?

if so go to http://www.aktivematrix.com/forum/dl...gory&cat_id=13 and download the OBD Scan Tech

plug your laptop into the car and run that program and it will tell you what the code is

Need to know the PO code. Mods?

My guess is PO300.

sorry for the late post. I dont have that cable but looking into buying it. What do you mean by Fuel cut? you think there might not be enough fuel getting to the engine in the higher rpm's? I was thinking something like that but not sure of the mechanics of it.
