Try ECUflash forum for prcatical tuning tips for torque. In general more boost and ignition timing. Cam choice and cam gear setting will also help.

On the hardware side you will need somthing to mitigate pre-ignition, either removing restrictions in the intake side and reducing back pressure on the exhaust side as well as richer AFs, water and/or meth injection.

going with 22psi instead and a retune for a little more timing as long as my knock sensor permits on our inconsistent "95 octane" fuel.

just my 2 cents, but tuning can play a major role in tq numbers. i had my car tuned by one guy, with 272 cams, alky inj, gt3076r, 28psi pump 93, and he got me to 455awhp and 360wtq.... i was having extreme issues with the startup and the boost seemed to take forever to come on, and later i found out he had way too much timing, like as if he tuned me for race gas instead. SOoooo. i had my exact same setup but bumped up to 30psi, re-tuned by Sean Ivey in NJ, and i got 461awhp and 406wtq. HUGE difference in torque numbers and the car feels AMAZING! the car doesnt struggle making power now, its instant.

note: i use denatured alcohol instead of meth, and i recently put in HKS 280's so I should be making more power and hopefully a little more tq

Yes an improved tune will probably help this situation however, to get the kind of numbers you are looking for in the tq department you will need to up the boost. Getting a new intercooler will help you to achieve this safely as will meth/water/alc injection as all of these cool down the intake charge before entering the engine and will allow you to run more consistent high boost with much less knock. My car once I got an intercooler saw over 20tq increase on just slightly more boost (now 23) and pretty similar timing... Here's my graph

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...t=ets+customer

page 5 post #72... That was my car EARLY this year and its now making much more tq and hp with a much improved tune and new non restrictive exhaust system.
