log it and see if the ruff idle is from being in open loop. Maybe a bad front O2 sensor???? Have you used any leaded gas?

Also one of many things on my list....because i do run c-16 in the car. How do you check for open loop on evoscan, i was looking at that when i did do a log but i wasnt sure what it should read. the numbers where moving though.

I was hopin for a check engine light if it was the o2, but im assuming it wont if its not totally crapped out.

no it runs stouch for the most part, but u can see the ecu fighting it back to mid-high 14s. far as it running to lean or too rich its hard to tell, cause my a/f gauge will go both ways, u can see in the vid going back and forth.

im ruling plugs and spark plugs out cause ive changed that area too many times also tried differnt coil packs.

i tried .032, .028, .024, .020 didnt change a thing
.020 it got real bad.

* i run NGK7's

oh when i said it runs pig rich from 1000rpms -2000rpms i meant for ex:

car stopped at a red light, light turns green, u start to go let the clucth out and give it some gas, if the clucth is totally out before 2k BLAAA it pegs the a/fs to 10:1 and it barley moves until u get past 2k and vroom back to life.

ive been reving high while letting the clucth out to get it past 2k by the time my clucth is totally out to avoid it falling on its face

I believe the O2 feedback will read 100 when you are in open loop. The actual O2 numbers will always be changing.

ill check that in 2 mins, i got my lap top sitting right here.

Today i took the timing cover off, inspected timing belt and cam gears just to see if it was missing teeth, or if my cam gear(s) jumped a tooth, but everthing looks ok.

I added 2 degrees of timing to idle and it got real lean and stumpled real bad on cold start..but when it warmed up it was back to the same lope.

the only thing i got left to check, that i can think of is: o2, maf, egr, ICV and maybe tune?

You sure the feedback is supposed to read 100? the only o2 feedback i see, is read in % and the numbers flux from -.6 to 5% which seems right to me, compared to my wideband. Thats about how bad it moving back and forth.

check your cam timing i'll bet the intake cam is off a tooth seen this last month on an 03 same deal loopy idle intermittintly also to check for leaky inj. use brake clean and spray at the tops and bottoms of the inj. if the idle changes then its leaking it will speed up and smooth out.

thats what i did yesterday...but i guess if its off one tooth it would be hard to notice, i mean i stared at them like i was waiting for a 3D pic to pop out but I kept looking at the TDC marks to see if they were parallel and it looked it to me.

Also the brake clean thing was one of the first things i did...i actually sprayed EVERYTHING

And did u mean leaky injector like the rubber gromet is leaking? cause i meant a leaky injector, like its dripping fuel (bad injector)

I had this problem a few months back. My o2 sensor harness under the spark plug cover had come slightly unconnected somehow. I didn't click it in hard enough when I removed it a few weeks earlier. The vibration bumped it out. It seems so simple but it had me scratching my head for a few days. I had the very same problem though it would idle just like that, sometimes die and sometimes jump up quick.

AC on car idles @ 1000-1050 rpms -10 vacuum////smooth idle
AC off car idles @ 1050-1100 rpms -16 vacuum/// rough lopy idle
