Its Baaaacckkkkkk!
Haha, So i called and gave him $h1t. Here was a rundown of the conversation:
Me: Do you have a black Evo IX for sale?
Him: Yes
Me: What kind of condition is it in?
Him: Its in very good condtion, only 60 some thousand miles.
Me: How many owners?
Him: Just 1
Me: Has anything been done to it?
Him: Nope, its stock. Oh umm the clutch was replaced with a stage 2 or 3.. oh and he took off the airbox
Me: Well what happened to the Leather Seats that come in all IXs?
Him: I dont know it just came like that, maybe he just special ordered it that way.
Me: lol
Me: Well, what about the headlights, tailights, wheels, and door panels? Did he special order all 8 parts for those too?
Him: Im not sure, probably..
Me: lol
Him: Have a nice day {click}
Here is what I'm betting happened.
Case A: The car was in some type of accident, the owner cheaped out, bought the crappiest parts he could find and traded it or sold it to the dealer.
Case B: The owner stripped the IX parts off, sold them, replaced with junkyard 8 parts, and sold it / traded it to the dealer.
Case C: The dealership got it as a totaled car, rebuilt it (poorly), and is selling.
Either way, dont buy this car. If the airbox was completely removed, the turbo is dusted. And who knows what else is wrong or going on under the hood.

LOL pwned!
Wow... Imagine buying that car... then joining Evo M and then all of us lot asking those questions. First time Evo buyers beware. I'd be gutted if I bought that car then found out all the parts are off an VIII insinuating that the car has been rebuilt.
I wonder what the carfax says hmmmm.......
Anyone fancy giving him a call to get the VIN lol
