It doesnt say MR but from the looks of the interior shot it looks like it has that ring so you can get into reverse which I thought only the MR's have, unless he wanted the MR shifter console and put that piece on.

 

It amazes me that some people still act surprised to see possible scams on craigslist.

 

He could of swapped in an MR 6 speed.

 

Another possiblity... I didnt even think of that lol.

 

Be very careful of all too good to be true car for sale posts on craig's list. I've checked out a couple of them, and both times it ends up being some fool telling me the car is already at the shipping yard and I just need to wire him $2000 for xyz car. I hate this BS. They are all a scam. Most of the time the pictures are posted in four pics to a square arrangement. We all love cars, and we all love a good deal, but remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. The auto market is pretty efficient, and there aren't that many unbelievable deals out there. Don't fall victim!!!!!

 

Exactly what I'm saying. I only respond to these to entertain myself with the bs they try to sell you. Couple things you'll notice too on other scams is there are no licence plates shown and no phone numbers to contact them.

if someone wants to sell something they would write a phone number or way of contacting them lol and those pics are from an evo that was for sale on ebay a while back he just used them its a scam the town changed acouple times to ive been lookign at it for awhile
