alot of people are going to consider andrew at dyno4mance or sharif at forged performance or even topspeed but 159 an hour is quite high in my opinion....

usually 70-100 an hour is average....

me personally if i wanted someone else to build my car besides me i would take the drive to TTP in orlando FL....thats just me.

they work on EVOS ONLY, no other car comes through there and from first hand sight and seeing their track cars they know EVERYTHING about evos.....

just my 2 cents though

ok, i found out it's 80 an hour , not 160. 160 might be tuning? anyway, 26-30 hours for everything sound right?

Thanks for the kind words Rob.

Atlanta to Orlando is much shorter than most Evo's that travel to have us work on their cars.

Our labor rate is $60/hr at the current time, yet we have more experience than many shops combined.

yea that seems very high. the average mechanical rate here in md is 80-90 an hour. 159 is a rip off. A friend of mine just got a twin scroll 35r setup and a 2.3 motor for 8k installed. Thats including the 35r kit and using his own block. all parts and labor...

yeah, again i found out that was tuning. one place wants like 359 hr for tuning! so far my best prices for installing turbo kit (preassembled), intercooler and pipeing, aem ems and uego, stroker kit, machining block for it, hd clutch, hks cams, radiater, and alternater,- buying a stroker kit, gaskets, arp, oil, etc,is
$7400 total from one (35 hours labor @ 100 hr, 1600 for stroker kit, 1230 for machining and stroker assembly, around 800 tuning, and 450 gasketsarp, etc)

another place is 14 hrs @ 100 for installing everything but the stroker. they have a stroker shortblock for 3500, installing it and swaping the head is 15.5 hrs. tuning would be a special deal at 250. total is around $7000.

if you can figure out which shops these are, keep it to your self. they would all do a great job, i'm just trying to save as much as possible. how important is getting a head at the same time? meth? the only parts i have left to buy is a clutch (maperformance tomorrow or fri), hks adj cam gears(do i need them?), smc meth kit (maybe), fuel rail, (hopefully) crbd radiator. let me know if anyons trying to get rid of some of these. thanks

meth, clutch, rail, FP, injectors, head (would do since you are building it), cams......you will want to get all of those......

if you are wanting to go 35R then you need all the fuel you can get

meth is a big + and it also lets you run some more boost and timing

clutch, especially if you plan to race this machine...LOL

well supporting mods are always important to get first so that you are ready for the BIG mods when they get put on....

and all those supporting parts are pretty easy to install if you have any mechanical experience...........

you dont wanna throw that 35r on and run into not having enough fuel problems, or not being able to add more timing issues.....
