I like evodan's mount, but mine works pretty well too, and only blocks a little bit of the IC. I jammed it behind the bumper on top of the mesh, and then used one zip tie:

Looks to me like it comes out of the hole next to the IC in the bumper, and then has maybe an L bracket that goes over to the plate bolts. Is that the case?

Very popular in the Miata community are swinging fold-under license plate brackets that will allow the license plate to hang properly, but will fold under at speed.

right now i live in virginia and we need plates front and back, so i just bought my ralliart in maryland and they gave me a single printed tag for the back window. im so worried about getting pulled over cause it looks like im tagless, espically at night. but when i get my plates i might go with the stow'n go mount but i saw a pic of it on a ralliart and it sits too low.
back from the dead....
