Headlight Out, HELP please!!!

Hey Guys,

I had bought a new headlight cause one had went out, so replaced the headlight bulb and still didnt work, i flipped bulbs from the other headlight and it worked on the other side. IS the ballast bad? or any other troubleshooting i can do.

Is the ballast the white square type thing that runs the HID bulb about the size of a playing card?? A dealer quoted me $570 for it i almost passed out. if anyone has any info or where i could get one cheeper info would be greatly apreciated! thanks so much for the help

I could be just a fuse or something. Not sure if that helps of not but usually I have good luck when I check the fuses.

Make sure that there is 12 volts going to the inverter. Sounds like a bad ballast/inverter.

I have a set of HID bulbs if you need some, but I think it sounds like a bad ballast. You can probably buy one on the forums or egay.

Yeah i just bought a cheap set from ebay ($70 kit and $20 harness) and it works wonderfully... ::knock on wood::

Sounds like a bad ballast to me

just to be sure.. check if you plugged in the bulb wires into the ballast unit backwards, happened to me when I first installed it and didn't turn on.
