We have received in the 1st of our Haltech units to test out.. Before we release them for sale we are going to do some thorough testing on several cars.. Just wanted to post some pics of the ecu and keep a thread going with updates of our findings.. We had some issues with AEM so thought we would give the haltech a try since my tuner has been using them forever on many different cars.. Its always nice to have another option for tuning.. If all works out we have made it so this will be as comparable priced to AEM as we can get it..

I was thinking about testing out the new E11... The new design and plug and play ability make it very tempting. Good luck, can't wait to hear the results.

Mike, Whats the price on a Haltech installed and tuned ?

 

Not sure we will charge for the tune til we get some testing done.. The ECU will be approx 1450-1500.00 w/o Sensors.. If you would like some more info Pm me.. Thanks!!

We had issues with the box restarting itself, antilag issues and few other glitches as well..

 

so mike how do you like the haltect e8 over all?

 

I like it a lot.. I have yet to have an issue with it.. The start up is 10x better than AEM.. it cranks quick and cranks perfect cold as well..

 

Why is this though? There has to be a reason for this...

I am told because the the Sync'ing Strategy Haltech used.. Apparently AEM was aware of that issue but decided not to make any updates.. I can tell you 100% the car starts easier and faster than any AEM car no matter the injector size..
