The ix interior is way cooler. They even took the RS aluminum shift knob. I'd be really worried that the front lsd had been swapped out too.

maybe he just liked the VIII's interior better and wanted to do a switch. Oh well... mine's a IX, I bought it new and I know it so I don't care lol :-)

Just an FYI for future reference, The 10th digit in a VIN is always the MODEL year (not production year) of the vehicle. ex. 6 for this car = 2006. For 2000 and below they use letters for the year. Y= 2000 X= 1999, etc.

Might come in handy if you don't have access to a carfax account.
