ok so i have an 06 xi se. i have an exhaust n bov on it, thats all. when im driving i can hear stuff rolling around in my trunk thats kinda noisy, but the other day i was driving and right when my music changed songs i heard the most horrible noise it was a big clanking noise, at first i thought it was stuff rolling around my trunk as usual but it was way too loud for that, then today when i was driving same thing happened. it sounds like its coming from underneath the car somewhere? nothing looks wrong with it, any idea what it could be?


second, if im on the highway and ill be in 5th gear my car sometimes sputters then is fine, what can that be? it only does it sometimes though so i dont understand what it can be. any help?

 

on the first problem, does this happen when u shift***

Hard to diagnose the noise, but the highway sputter is probably your bov especially if it is vented to the atmosphere.
