Yeah, it did... Watch the episode again. The Evo X that ran "circles" was the FQ360, he describes all the drawbacks to the FQ360 near the end. The normal GSR Evo X lost by 2/100 of a second when Stig drove both cars. It was a 1:XX.22 and 1:XX.2 with the STi winning.

It doesn't make your any less cool, nor does it make your warranty any more real. So deal with it.

 

hmm I think this is amazing, its the ugly sister of the evo and I still respect it

 

to be honest w/ you I think for an ok driver to above average driver the Evo X will be faster, but for an elite driver I think the techno wizardry and assists could hamper what you could squeeze out of a car. I'd consider the stig an elite driver, and I think that would help to explain why he did a better lap time in the sti. No?
