When is ralliart coming?? Anybody?

So when are we going to get support from Ralliart ?

Rumored to be out at around ralliart lancer time. So when is the ralliart lancer coming out or allocated already?

If anybody has any infomation on ralliart ecu, exhaust, brakelines and etc please fill in.

GTR, you can get the ralliart stuff from Japanparts.com. The "ralliart sports ecu" will allow you to run >1.5 bar of boost and has a better boost curve. I personally feel that the best way to go for you guys, are US based tuners with experience eg. WORKS or Vishnu. Also be careful, as based on our experience the Ralliart ECU does not like weak petrol (i believe its tuned for 100 RON)

Our ecu's are completely different than the Japanese or rest of world market cars. The plug patterns are even different, I've heard. So a ralliart ECU, not made exclusively for the US market, is useless to us.

Im eagerly counting down for RalliArt to get to the states, I hate the lag but it will be well worth the wait.

Jemm, your car rocks

Anyways, speaking of ecu's this bring out one question concerning reflashed ecu's.

Let's say we have JDM evos. Why would offer a ralliart ecu rather than doing a reflash and sending the old ones back?

Is this because of marketing/warrentee reasons or limitation on reflash systems vs. totally different ecu? Perhaps reflash is not as great as in theory

Thanks GTR, the Evo coming to the states made my day. Parts and tech info are much easier to come by now.

Ralliart wants to make $.. so they sell you a new product. I don't think it would be worthwile to do reflashes for a worldwide customer base.

GTR, remember that blue 7 I wanted to buy? That car's ECU was sent to japan and flashed with the ralliart program. The ECU manufacturing/flashing is done in Japan not Ralliart UK. In fact when Ralliart UK first got the ralliart acd ecu, it took them a while to figure out what it was about, as everything was in japanese!

I am currently securing ECU pinouts for the jdm 7 and 8 ... so we can compare.

I currently have access to a Ralliart Sports ECU.. its sitting on the shelf @ my friend's place. He took it out as it made no perceptable difference.... Maybe I may give it a go.

Bspeed, unless it is made for a US Spec evo, the ECU will not work....or at least that is what we were told a while ago.

When you get your Evo, give it a try for us.

I think he meant 2004 model year. Late September early October of this year seems reasonable. I really hope Ralliart step up with an upgrade chip, with the car running as rich as it does there are huge gains to be made from simple tuning as evidenced by the effectiveness of AFCs on this car.
