oil filter help

So i went to the dealership to get a oil filter and the service guy gave me part number mz690116 however i see in the oil changing threads that it shows part number mz690072. I was wondering what was up. Did the guy make a mistake or are these the filters they have been using at the dealership in our cars. Will it work? Should i go in an change it? Thanks Guys and sorry for the newbie question.

oil filter

The filter I use is the MZ690116.
I bought a lot of 10 w/ crush washers from a dealer.
However, I remember that there are other filters made by Mitsubishi
that are all compatible with each other. Initally, my 03 Evo came with 256000 if I
remember correctly.

my oem filters don't come with washers, either. infact i've never replaced the washer that's been on my car since i bought it and it's been fine.

yeah they're cheap but if it doesn't come with my filter, i'm not going out of my way for it.
