Perfect Drop

I am about to lower my evo 9 and I want to know how many inches you guys dropped your car. If you have pictures of your drop please post them so that I may take a look. I am afraid to lower it too much, but at the same time I dont want to have it looking almost like stock.

Thanks

i had my IX dropped by Eibach. If i'm right is a 1"around drop ,which is perfect for street and looks.
Too much drop ruins you suspension geometry.
With the Eibach you are kind a stay with the factroy balance, but an inch lower.
You need alignment after install of course.

I used to run the Tanabe GF210's. A lot of people use them and the car looks fantastic afterwords. I then got my Stance coilovers and really fell in love with my car. I will never again buy aftermarket springs by themselves. Coilovers made my life...kinda.

i would go with coilovers but, swift springs give you a nice drop as well and you dont lose much of your handing....

go with swift

STAY AWAY FROM TEIN SPRINGS, they are complete garbage on these cars. many people can attest to that on here too

I use to always go with just springs, but having the tein coilover setup with the edfc in the evo ill never go back to using springs and stock struts. Its def a night and day difference regarding the handling aspect imo

Thats odd. Whats the negatives using the tein springs on the evo?? Reason im asking is because ive had the springs on several of my past cars including my s2000 and I thought they did a great job of giving the car the perfect stance and maintaining the handling/cornering ability of oem. Im not gonna say they helped with handling but I didnt see a negative from them either.
