Tune with no mods?

Tune with no mods?
Hello,
I currently drive a stock ix, and it will probably stay that way for at least six months before I start adding all the basic bolt-ons.
I would like to get some more power out of it in the meantime however. There is a 100 oct. pump right near my house that I can use to fill up on a regular basis. (Its my weekend car only, dont mind the gas $) Im wondering if it is worth it to get my car tuned for 100 oct even when I dont have any other mods. Would the gains be significant to tide me over, or should I just hold out untill I start adding everything else (tbe etc...)?
Ive been trying to find some reports of just tunes only, but all the info I can find is on modded cars.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
