I paid 17,900 for my 8 with 43,000 miles on it.

Your paying to much if you buy that car.

The car can handle the mileage, just dont pay more than 15 for it.

my question is... how do you put that many miles on a car haha

no im jk, my parents used to buy a brand new car every 2 years because from all the traveling for hockey they would have over 100k on them starting from 0.

maybe the owner went everywhere SOOOO fast that he was able to get a billion things done in one day so he would just keep driving faster and faster.

Just make sure it's in 100% working condition. have it 100% looked over and it should be good

I wouldn't pay 17k for it, you can get an Evo with 60k miles for that price. I would be buying it with a rebuild in mind. Its not a car for a beginner with no money.

I paid 22k for my evo 3 years ago and it had 30k. 17k for a 100k evo is a gigantic rip off. Offer 12k-15k.

Lol you shouldn't listen to those people.
As Jim and other said, use and what kind of 100k were put on it matters more than the number of miles. I wouldn't buy it for $17k but for $15k or under I'd seriously consider it, especially if it were going to be a significant project/race car, or a dd you wouldn't mind putting some work into. Example: you aren't a candidiate for financing a new $32k Evo, but have $15k cash to buy one outright and will have plenty of cash regularly to restore/build it. In fact, for the amount of modding most of us plan or at least think about doing, starting with a car like that would make sense, as the engine, suspension, and brakes are the main things to wear out after that much use, and once, upgraded, except for the crapply little problems with the interior etc., i't'd be as good as any other built evo IMO.

I guess depends on the previous owner's driving... and the condition of the transmission and engine, or maybe with an amazing price...

These are great cars, but lets not forget they have a lot more moving parts than your average commuter car.

Replacing drivetrain parts isnt cheap and they wont last forever.

But honestly, I would buy it, If this is one of the only ways for you to get one, then do it. These cars drive amazing.
