yea so someone decided to shoot my back window with a pellet gun, and completly shattered the window. the only thing keeping it up really is the tint.

How much do new ones run? It looks pricey with the defrost and rear wiper hole. did the base evos come with out that? i dont need all that.

Thats is usually true, but with my deductable id only be saving a couple hundred bucks.

I called the dealer, the window is like $680.

 

The rear costs significantly more than the front due to the heading lines/vanes (semantics?).

 

+1, you shouldn't have to pay any deductible at leats i didn't pay any when they replace my front windshield (stone hit it)

 

I really think the price is so high due to= factory glass, defrost, and wiper hole. i dont think it has anything to do with the dot matrix or tint.

the dealer wasent too much help on finding out if a lancer window would work, and if there was any model of an evo that didnt come with the rear wiper. the part number from the 03 was different from an 04 just because the upper factory tint but the price was the same.

So i called safelite, they came out and installed a 03 lancer window in. It didnt have the wiper hole. So i removed the wiper motor (i never use it anyway) It was $278 installed.

 

Damn that sucks.

man, very sorry to hear that. I'd look at other places to get the glass though. Pick and Pull salvage lots, parting out evos, etc.

 

damn that sucks . when i got my drives side window busted the guy that installed its sad don't get the back one busted that the pricey one $$$$$$$$$$....im Gussin 350.

 

thats cause of the wires and cause its curved
