I love this car
I agree with everyone else... My EVO VIII is the best car I have ever owned, my wife asked me the other day if you could have any car in the world what car would you want and I said an EVO!!! I don't care that it's not a 9 or MR, I couldn't imagine a better car for me... I travel a lot for my job and when I come back from a redeye and pick up my car, I swear I fall in love again every time.. I think we are sometimes spoiled if we drive the car every day.
You're right. I absolutely love my 8. I wouldn't trade it for anything. The wife tried to talk me into trading it in for the X. Ain't happenin! I'd rather sell my DD'er Prelude and get the X. Then again I love the Prelude also...Who says you can't have 3 cars to play with.
1.Your not into any-type of racing breed
2.Your not interested into how the EVO handles
3.Your not into how fast you can go & how much power you can deliver
4.You dont know that an EVO can Crush on a G35
5.Your too old
6.and you said you miss your G35
you sound like a M3 type of guy

Then you have a problem either

I know what the full potential of the Evo is. I just don't see the Evo the same way u guys do. The G35 was my first car so I'm attached to it and I almost bought an M3 but didn't cause the dealer was giving me ****, so I left. The Evo is great if u take it to the track, canyons or someone pulls up next to u and u show'em whats up. For everything else it not that great cause Mitsubishi is cheap and u guys know that. I like the car but I not IN LOVE with it.
So break up with it!
Seriously, it's what I did when I started falling out of love. The Evo was like a super hot girl, that you couldn't stand her personality, nice to have on your arm, really nice to fool around with, but in the end I'd rather have the fairly attractive girl that's more fun to hang around with and almost equally nice to fool around with.
Metaphors are fun!

I agree. This is why I don't daily drive the Evo. Not only that, but gas prices, high maintenance, etc. But the #1 reason, I don't want to be spoiled. I don't want to "get used to it". I drive a 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport van 4-5 days a week

Its just a toy for me to play with. I really miss my G35 though.
