So I have been planning on buying an Evo, thanks to Evolutionm.net and Dan from MachV motorsports. All I needed to do is save up a nice down payment. I also have a 99 Mustang GT which I had planned on keeping...until Saturday morning.

So I was driving on I-95 Southbound HOV, to go pick up the woman. I got just past the Dumfries Manassas exit when I hit traffic. So I get in the right lane today because I didn't feel like being a dick and riding up the left lane (Which ends and has to merge into the right lane.) I slow to about 5 mph and check out my rear view mirror... everything after that seemed like a dream. Dreamed I looked in my mirror and saw a silver import doing about 60 about 20 feet behind me and not braking. When I woke up I realized it hadn't been a dream considering my interior was completely obliterated all around me and some guy was trying to take my wallet. When I woke up the second time I could hear Fire and Rescue cutting me out of my destroyed Mustang.
I haven’t seen the car yet, but I was told that my rear tires were under my rear seats. I will post pics as soon as I can get them

P.s. After multiple X-Rays and a CT scan I was released from the hospital with only 2 stitches in my elbow from a puncture wound.
They said I will be extremely sore for the next week or so.

DAMN! i'm glad you're ok man. take the time to recoup, and don't downplay any pain you might have... it could be accident related.

other than that, maybe this was God's way of tellin ya... ITS TIME FOR AN EVO!

Damn man, glad to hear you made it out okay. What happened to the driver of the import?

I lost my supercharged '02 GT by hitting a patch of ice, which rolled me over a big curb, took down a small tree with my passenger side, and landed on a street sign on the opposite side of the road. It all happened so fast.

at least you made it out with minor injuries...you one lucky **** for having only a few stiches.
Make sure you dont have any backaches or neck pains..cuz it might come up later.

Yes, he does have insurance. The officer told me he doesn't speak english, and that all he had was a bruised knee.

Well... we just went and saw the car, and it's a friggin mess... I have pics, but nowhere to host them from.

Glad you're okay, hopefully there won't be any long-term effects. Good luck with your Evo purchase, but it saddens me to see a nice mustang bite it.
