It is hard to beat the jet fighter theme, but it just doesn't seem right for a salt flat car. Ray sharks are great, but the Evo isn't the right shape and sharks don't do well in the desert. How about a Sandworm from Dune. Paint the front black from the tip of the splitter up to the hole in the hood as the mouth was open and of course teeth.

 

I think you should paint a sexy a** girl on the side Or Zebra stripes.

You should go with a them from the "Thud" or F4 Wild Weasel.

The P51 Mustang would be very cool also.

You could find a heritage patch on-line that the old fighter squadrons use to wear as well to add to the car somehow.

 

 

Hell, anything done by OCC choppers since everyone is mentioning "Spiderman" etc...
