Hey guys/gals, quick little question for you. I plan on importing an EVO into Canada but there are certain little things that need to be done in order for it to pass safety here. One thing in Canada that is different then the US is day running lights. What i mean by this is in Canada, when you start your car and drive during the day, your headlights turn on automatically (or fog lights depending on the vehicle). What i would like to know is, during the day, do EVO's have day running lights? If not, i'll have to get fog lights installed

 

No they do not have daytime running lights, some models have the fog lights in the headlight housing but you would have to wire them to come on when you start your car.

 

That's no fun I'll have to see if a can ghetto-rig something up for cheap and then be able to remove once the car is plated. I just dont like the fact that i'll have to pierce holes in the bumper.

 

MRs, SSL and SE GSR IX's all have HIDs with fogs, as far as I know. You could probably wire the fogs to be DRLs.

As a side note, I can't stand that ****. My wife's Camry has it and it annoys the hell out of me.

 

You could buy a GG IX with the SE lip and send me the bumper with no holes and I will send you mine all ready to go
