Mini-Battery Kits?

I recently bought a evo VIII and it has an odyssey PC680MJ on it. Well about a month ago my car kept dying. I would be driving down the road and eventually my innovative wideband sensor starts saying E9, which means its not getting enough power. Then my guages would shut off and my car would die. I replaced my alternator and it worked good for bout a week. Then all my lights started to flicker, But everything tested fine.

I just replaced both the battery and the alternator again monday. Yesterday I jumped in it, and the headlight knob was on and the radio came on but when i turned the key, it didn't turn over at all. This morning the lights began to flicker a little and then stopped. Could there be a short somewhere or is it just a defective battery? I already have another battery and was going to replace it this weekend.

I was wondering too, can this battery actually be a daily driver or is it just for racing purposes?

Had a mini battery for almost half a year now with no issues daily driven.

I do have a 2 watt solar cell hooked to it for those cold mornings.

These kind of things are everywhere, it wont charge your battery so much but will definitely is a good maintainer.

Ok thanks. I wasn't sure if it was ok to drive it that much or what. I don't know much about evos. I took it to mitsubishi today and they said the alternator is good and they said they think the battery is defective. Do i have to put a charger on it every night or something?

Its possible you just have a power drain somewhere once these small batteries get low i'm told they don't recharge as well.

Who really knows it could be nearly anything on a car.

There are a few constantly powered sources in the car like radio's, ecu, and stuff
