The guy may have had 65k in a briefcase, but that doesn't mean he offered $65k for the Evo

The story was cool until it got to the part where someone tried to buy the Evo for $65K but the owner/seller said no.

a few weeks ago they sold this i think 94 Corvette ZR1 at auction, it only had 75 miles and basically brand new, the original sticker was 50 something, it sold for
35k, the guy sold it under reserve.
my point is the salesman was either trying to sucker you in, or he was just stupid and believed someone else's lie, then told you the same.

maybe.. but its quicker, and outhandles all its predicessors! ive seen the r35 in person at the track, and its VERY impressive

I can tell you the dealership near me sold the MR when it first came out for 52,500. I remember the day the guy picked it up i felt like smacking him!

Dealership is BSing. Besides, any cash transactions over $9,999 have to be reported to the FBI.
