Can the odessey Drycell be jumpstarted??

I went away on vacation for 2 weeks.. I came back today to find my cars battery dead.. I was wondering if it was alright to jumpstart the car Since I have heard mixed reviews

Fair warning though we have a car in the shop that had an Odessey and it sat for a while and eventually using the jumper box did not work......had to get a new battery.

Just be sure if it starts up to give it a good drive and hope it holds the charge after that.
