What upgrade path for high end power???

Just curious if anyone has an idea on what upgrade path to take to modify your EVO to raise high end power in terms of pulling much harder on high speed without sacrificing to much of the low end power? How much difference will a 3inch turbo back exhaust system make on the high end of your EVO?

I'd start with a boost controller, SAFC and EGT gauge. Stock boost falls a lot after it hits peak around 4000rpms, so with a boost controller, you can fix that. The SAFC and EGT gauge will let you tune your car, leaning out the higher end, which runs really rich at stock.

What he said! True-dat .... free up that exhaust, add a little more boost, or at least use a boost controller to keep boost steady all the way to redline (keeps the wastegate closed so boost doesn't taper off as much). Also, and ECU upgrade will help ... reflash, piggyback, even A/F controller (SAFC).
