I had them machine all 4 rotors and new rear pads. but 3 days later they were warped again. When i went to subaru they said the rotor thickness was out of spec and i needed new rotors and new front pads, when mitsu said my front pads were at 90%

For things as simple as brake pads/rotors Id rather DIY or use friendly resources where I can be there hands on during. So far Ive used my warranty for new calipers and a new wing.I wont use it again unless the motor/tranny/tc go bad. Basicly there are dumb mechanics at every car dealership.I hang out with a few personally. That picture was worth a smile though.

I made sure the service writer I deal with was cool.I have purchased 3 mitsubishi's from the dealer I go to so they arent out to get me anytime soon. As long as the underwriters approve warranty repairs my guys are happy to take the job/hours.I also get the better techs delegated to me versus the under-educated kids.

Its the evos that have been molested with multiple problems that these dealers void because they dont want to deal with it or be responsible.Im sure there are exceptions though.I have a few mods which Ive been told would void me instantly.Apparently not yet."Know your service writer" thats the rule.

ya i usually dont have mitsu do this type of work for me but i was about to move so i had no time to do it myself. ive had the same problem with my TC for a while now, the rep told me it "wasnt broken enough for me to fix under warranty" right now im just trying to get them to fix the front rotors (not under the car warranty, but through them warrantying the work they did in the first place)
