Evo made me very happy last night!

I dont usually post worthless threads like this but I had an interesting night.I went out for a few drinks with my friends at the pines ale house last night.Parking was filled due to it being a Friday night so I parked at an arbys next door.

Long story short Im taking wizz in the boys room and we hear an announcement that "any cars parked at arbys are being towed"! I damn near did a ben stiller nut zip-up and sprinted outside. There were about 5 tow trucks snagging cars left and right.Must be a way of life for them.

To my suprise I see my evo sitting all by itself in a once filled arbys parking lot.I moved the car quickly feeling very lucky.I checked the car for damage and everything looked and felt fine. Now my question is......Do tow truck drivers know they cant 2-wheel tow evos before they hookup? The reason I didnt get towed is obviously due to my car being AWD and them not having a flat-bed driver!

Anyway I felt special in front of my buddies(1 of them towed and pissed) because I drive an evo and I thought everyone here on the forums should celebrate this joyous moment with me

I'm betting they ran out of tow trucks. They're not going to know if it's an AWD car or not and could probably care less. Consider yourself lucky as it probably has nothing to do with your car.

Ran out of tow trucks? Negative....There were 2 trucks chilling and 3 others circling for more cars. They were vultures I tell you.Nevertheless lucky I was.

yeah, you need to get one of those AWD tow warning stickers. you're lucky they didn't tow it not knowing what it was and destroy your drivetrain. EVO's must be good luck charms haha well...not mine...it's more like a ticket charm

For some reason they overlooked your car. There are plenty of horror stories on here of re-re tow truck driver destroying the drivetrain by not using a flat bed.

um tow truck drivers don't care. My previous car, a Acura Rdx got towed even though it is awd and afterwards, the car just hasn't felt the same. So beware because they could careless if they need a flat bed. I believe even if they destroy ur front end because the car is low, they are not responsible for any damages.

Even if they do tow your evo and ruin the drivetrain, arent they responsible for any dmg?
