Just because we (tuners) dont like the movie, dosent affect how big the movie actually was, and still will be. Yes it was a horrible movie, but was it sold out for awhile at first? Yes.

Unless they went all out, with engine, interior, I highly doubt it.

^^Maybe the Japanese don't like the US, so they decided to give them an ugly rice lancer tail lights. lol. Just like how the gave the US chrome heads and tail lights on the 8's.

 

if i had 100k to burn i would buy this car and get rid of all of that ugly crap on it..or i would burn it.

 

its not a conversion because the vin clearly says ct9a for the chassis

That's the secret to this car. I find it entirely undesirable. But someone might because it is indeed quite rare.

 

The movie was just that entertainment not meant to be taken with anything more than a grain of salt.

The person who dressed this car up the way they did should be horse whipped and then dipped in rubbing alcohol. If you look at the under the hood pic though It appears to have been silver when it was made.
