HAh that sounds so familiar...I was contemplating getting something more "luxurious and family oriented" and was close to selling. Then i realized what a big mistake it would be to get rid of my Evo. Recently i took the wing off and added some exterior parts to make it different and more awesome. I think i will be keeping the Evo for a very very long time to come.
i've been there done that too. I sold my '05 evo after a year cause i wanted something more luxurious. I got a '07 g35 sedan and got bored of it after 6months so i sold it and got an s2000. s2000 was way too slow and small so i got rid of that in 6months. Got my evo ix after and havent looked back since. Been 8 months so far and i still love it.
i would say the mr se with 5800 miles would be around 27k right now. I wish my ix had that low of miles...

I prefer the IX's but you really sound like you would want an X. I saw one in person the other day...they look huge in online pictures but even next to a IX (must have been buddies...?) it wasn't all that much bigger. They definitely seem cushier and quieter but they certainly do look bad ***, imo. At least give one a whirl...

i have sat in a X and it feels more comfortable than my ix, but the killer for me is the trunk is like 1/2 of the ix's
