2026: What Did You Do To Your Evo Today?
Installed my freshly painted JDM rear. Installed my freshly coated crash bars and intercooler. Replaced thermostat, flushed radiator and finally I started tearing down what I could to prepare to do my timing belt and water pump.
cleaned my K&N filter, absolutely filthy. just letting it dry out now, my MAP sensor has lots of gunk and oil all over it. the airbox is a lot of oil all over it also.
just ordered a HKS dry filter from ebay now. no more of this oil based panel filter nonsense!

today, I missed my evo. I'm deployed and won't get to drive her for another 6 months lol. On a good note, my savings keeps getting larger, which means that there is more mod money available
Attempted to install new Bilsteins, got them all the way around except for the drivers side, front. The bolt head sheered off when tightening down the top hat. Big let down, but at least the stockers are good enough to stand in while I get this one squared away.
Got my new shoes for the Evo X for this year

New rubber showed up at my local Discount Tire Today so got them all mounted up

Love the Meaty 275/35R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sports

Wheels look so good and will be going on the car shortly
Sorry to tease with out having them on the car yet

Also installed a Lightweight Odyssey Battery with AMS small battery mount
Saved a little over 20lbs.

Installed pics to come later

I spent the evening trouble shooting my cruise control. I installed this in 2005 or 2006 - don't exactly remember. Well, the other day I hit the set button and nothing. Boy do I miss it, I was in the habit of riding that cruise everywhere. I suppose that's why it failed. Anyway, the servo is shot and the company that made it long out of business. So, I'm going to have to start from scratch.
