I was looking at some pics & realized that I didn't like the fact that the intercooler was the only thing in the front of the car that wasn't blacked out. Heres a before pic & some after pics. I don't have the car back together yet, but I'll post more pics when it's finished.

FYI: I sanded the intercooler & prepped it with an aluminum sealant. Then it is painted with automotive base/clear. It should hold up as well as any other painted part on the car.

Not yet. I took those pics a few minutes ago I have a small spot on the bumper I need to repair & I want to polish my UICP while it's off. I'll get pics up when I can.

I don't think the I/C is supposed to be painted - promotes quicker heat soaking.

Good choice, as I have the same, but what is it doing all the way down near your ash tray and how in the hell can you see it while driving?

I mounted mine on top my steering wheel.

I wish I knew what the instructor was saying to you.

I'm sure I was a little scared, but I think that keeps you safe. I only had 2 butt puckering moments at that track & I don't think that was one of them. Most of the time the instructor was pointing out specific locations on the track & giving tips.

Yesterday I removed the bumper to take the amber corners out of the headlights. i also took the opportunity to install some 8K HID i had bought a couple weeks ago. After that I started removing the gauge cluster to install some new ones. O I also polished my Cobb heat shield. Im beat my car is sitting in my garage today.
