What color brakes??

Car is a 2005 Silver GSR with typical faded/chipping wheels. I paid for MR wheels, but when I got them they were all messed up. The guy selling it doesn't seem to willing to do anything about it so it looks like I'm going to have to take care of them. So the wheels will be powder coated black.

I definitely don't want red calipers again. I'm open to opinions, but I'm thinking either Silver with Black Brembo lettering or Gold with Black Brembo Lettering. Let me know what you guys think!!

I would paint them black and get the white Brembo stickers. Should look good with black powder coated MR wheels.

Why dont you go into the show and shine section and look at some pictures of other peoples choices.Do what makes YOU happy not what people vote for in the poll.

Actually I tried searching brakes and calipers in the titles of the show and shine section. Most of the pictures I've seen make me REALLY want Black calipers. But I figured since the wheels would be black that black calipers wouldn't look right.

And I myself can't decide which one to go with. I was thinking Silver with Black Brembo while my brother was thinking Gold with Black Brembo. I wish I could go Black, but I couldn't find any pics of someone with Black MR wheels and Black Brembo brakes to back up my thoughts.

Thanks for the link!!!

I actually really like the Silver with Black just like in that how-to. I'm not really a big "poll" person, but I really can't make a decision on this. I'm hoping some people will chime in with pics of their setups or links to pages.

How well do those vinyl decals hold up on the brake calipers? Do they heat up and just fall off in no time or will they actually stay on for a decent amount of time?

I was thinking about powder coating the calipers, but that may be more of a hassle or less cost effective than just using the G2 (or similar) kit. The wheels are definitely getting powder coated though.

I think I will go with the Black with Silver letters!! Thanks for the input!!
