Weight of optional parts on IX RS outside US
According to Mitsubishi website, the weight breakdown on optional parts of X RS is as below:

+30kg (66lbs) for upgrading to 18" Enkei, Brembo calipers, upsized rotors
+ 10kg (22lbs) for the wing
+ 10kg (22lbs) for intercooler spray
On top of the stock 1420kg weight (3131lbs).
Does anyone have information like this for IX or VIII? Because my car came with the wheel and brake upgrade, wing and the spray from the dealer. It also came with A/C (which is suppose to be around 35lbs for any part related), power windows and locks (which shouldn't weigh more than 5lbs). So the weight would be 1310kg (2888lbs) + whatever I have on top.

are you asking how much you think your car weighs?
i have an 06 RS that weighs about 3050 (no sound deadening, no power anything, no IC spray, no wing, no radio, PLUS weight savings from lightweight wheels, brakes, mustache bar, exhaust, no 5mph crash beams, ect.)... so I'm not sure how you have all these heavy components in your car and expect it to weigh less than mine.
correct me if i'm wrong but 2,888lbs just seems very light.

2888lbs is complete base IX RS in Japan, with no wing, no brembos, on 15" steelies and crap tires, no IC spray, no A/C, no power windows/locks, no recaro seats (the crap base lancer seats). The 10kg on wing is for X, I'm sure the IX wing isn't that much lighter. That +30kg for brake upgrade and wheel/tire upgrade might be lower for IX as well due to smaller size so I am trying to find out through this thread. I'm guessing around 25kg (55lbs) from the stock steelies.
