would a stock cat back exhaust off a Evo 9 fit a evo 8? Reason I ask is I'm selling my stocker but guy wanting to buy it has a 8. I don't see why it wouldn't fit but just want to make sure

I wouldn't see why not....same engine (other than MIVEC) and the undercarriage layout is identical...it should be no problem.

 

i believe the only thing different is for the 9's the rear o2 sensor goes into the cat, I heard the 8's are somewhere else? Can anyone confirm?

 

the acd added an extra bend to the down pipe. check to see if the buyers car acd. I know the down pipe of a non acd evo won't fit on one equiped with it, but it would likely work the other way. you'd just have an unnecessary bend behind the oil pan.
