Anybody use their Evo as their primary baby transporter

As the title states, just wondering who else uses their Evo as their primary baby carrier. I just got my Evo IX, although I was leaning towards a more comfy car when shopping but got the IX instead because my inner ricer prevailed.
Although my baby hasn't sat in the Evo yet. I wonder if he'll like the race car ride and race car exhaust.

I've read about many people buying those little Recaro seats and had no problems. How old is the baby?

Maybe putting the car seat down on a tempurpedic pillow will improve the ride.

I had a 1.8T GTI(2dr) and found out my wife was pregnant. I wanted more power, and needed 4 doors. My daughter(now two) has always ridden in the Evo. Her ride home, was in the evo. The rumble always swoothed her. She is now big enough for a Recaro Baby seat. She loves it. Its funny, when in other cars she yells "GO, GO, PLEEEEZE", I guess I started her off wrong

I'm sure the baby wont mind as long as he/she stays oblivious to the fact that there are cars with a "comfy" and quiet ride out there. Put him in a camry and he'll cry at the sight of an Evo.

my boy only rides in the EVO. his ride home from the hospital was in it. I feel much safer in that car then the wifes TSX. besides he loves the noise and vibrations, puts him right to sleep.

Please just remember to take it easy on the gas with the baby in the car.

On a separate note, the Recaro baby seat, I argued and argued about getting one for my girl that is now 16 days old. Well we didn't get the recaro but about a week after we got what she wanted I found an article in one of her motherhood mags only to read the Recaro is one of the safest seats made.

Edit: I forgot to answer your question. I got the Evo when my middle son was 3, 7 now, and he loved riding in it. I only take my oldest now, 10, because she can sit in the front seat. She never complains about the open dump or the smell of leaded fuel.

I got a Recaro seat for my daughter when she was around 12 months. She loves it. They mount very easily and are solid. Like lexat said, they are one of the safest. Hard to find in local stores though. I got mine from USA baby here in Vegas.

BJ, that is what's up. I can't wait until she is a tad older to understand dynos, etc.

We got ours from www.RECAROchildseat.com , as it had the best price and free shipping at the time.
